Everyone has a story to tell. Alessandro’s portraits illustrate that perfectly. What you do need is a captured moment that triggers particular poignant memories or reveals individualism, more than you are allowed to show in your daily doings.
I’M A PEOPLE WATCHER…
… aren’t we all? Come on now, how many times have you sat in a cafe, a bar, or taken a ride on the bus and looked around at everyone, thinking, what’s their story? Why the big smile? What’s the matter with them?
Hey', I’m no different from you. The difference is, I’m a photographer and I love trying to capture what’s going on in my sitters heads, with a fantastic portrait that really resonates.
I’M NOT ONE FOR CHEESE
Don’t get me wrong, offer me a slice of Stilton on a cracker with a dollop of pickle and I’ll be very happy, but I’ll never ask you to paint a forced smile on your face or make like you’re having fun if that’s not what you feel inside.
What I will do is try to have a fun photo session with you. If you’re having a good time then so am I. Then we’ll be laughing, quite literally, and naturally too.
And there are so many more feelings you might have. Something we may be chatting about may trigger a memory, as well as a tiny tear.
A music track that I may be playing in the studio might remind you of a fab time in your life.

I’m not easily surprised or shocked. On the contrary, I love meeting individuals who like to express their individuality.
