When I watched Michael Caine and Stanley Baker face the terrifying sight of thousands of spear and shield wielding warriors at Rorke’s Drift, I would never have thought such pride, determination and honour would have found it’s way to Croydon in the guise of Wendy Mthunzie.

It came as no surprise that Wendy is very proud of her heritage and wanted to reflect that in the images I captured for her.
