Dai was a wonderful character. He had been toddling his way down the road to The Pawsons Arms for 59 years.

I just seized the opportunity to capture his unique character and asked him if he would allow me to take his picture. He gladly obliged.

He’s sunk quite a number of pints over those years, thrown thousands of darts, won his fair share at cards, seen landlords and ladies come and go, witnessed a fair few fights and found countless reasons to laugh out loud. Unfortunately Dai passed away last year and is sadly missed.

You may have loved ones in the Autumn of their lives. It’s so important to capture an image that shows them at their finest, as you’d like to remember them.
